Action For Sport was delighted to visit St Clare’s Catholic Primary School this week to provide sports clothing and footwear to help support pupils’ participation in sport.
PE teacher Chris Cummings showed us some of the school’s existing kit, including sportswear carrying an old version of the school logo that is more than 20 years old.
We were pleased to be able to provide a selection of new sports clothing and footwear to help the school refresh its kit and make sure pupils have access to the equipment they need to take part.
It is a great example of how the Action For Sport School Partnership Programme can provide practical support to schools, helping remove some of the barriers that can prevent young people from participating in sport.
We’re really pleased to be working with St Clare’s and look forward to supporting the school further through the programme.
Action For Sport is now working with more than 20 schools across the UK. To find out more about the School Partnership Programme and how your school can join, visit actionforsport.org.uk.
