Action For Sport would like to say a huge thank you to Guiseley School for their continued support of our School Partnership Programme and for the significant work being carried out by staff and volunteers to raise awareness of the barriers that can prevent young people from accessing sport.
The school has also been fundraising for Action For Sport, helping us to continue our work and Pay It Forward to support other schools and young people across the country.
As part of our partnership, Action For Sport was delighted to provide Guiseley School with a significant number of football boots and trainers to support PE and sporting activity within the school.
Having access to suitable footwear can make a real difference to young people taking part in sport, particularly where families may find the cost of equipment difficult to manage.
We’re really pleased to be working with Guiseley School and grateful for the commitment of everyone involved in supporting our work.
Thank you to the staff and volunteers at Guiseley School for helping us make a difference.
